Program Summary

If you are aged between 21 and 24, living with a disability* and looking at gaining valuable life skills in a fun interactive group environment, then this program was written just for you.

Our LEAP program is designed for young adults living with a disability. We focus on working with you to develop your skills, achieve your goals and live your best life!



Let’s have fun! The LEAP program is packed with outdoor activities and social events matched to your interests and designed to improve your confidence in social situations.

  • Navigating social situations

  • Managing relationships


Regular engagement with your peers and the wider community is important as an adult. The LEAP program will assist you to build a strong support network and tap into resources available to help you meet your goals.

  • Vocational support – job hunting

  • Volunteering/participating in community events

  • Appropriate behaviours/ safety in the community

  • Making contacts and broadening support networks


Autonomy and independence are a massive part of being an adult. We will support you to develop the skills and knowledge to achieve this

  • Independent living skills

  • Independent travel skills

  • Managing you own health and wellbeing

  • Decision making and responsibilities

  • Adulting – life admin tasks, bills, appointments etc..

Practical Learning

Learning doesn’t stop when you finish school. As your goals and direction change, so will your learning needs. The LEAP program focusses on practical learning in real-life situations.

  • Literacy and numeracy in everyday tasks

  • Managing money

  • Effective communication

  • Using technology to assist with day to day tasks
