Program Summary

Have you finished school and now wondering “what next?”  Adulthood can be scary but also very exciting!


At BASE we want to help school leavers and young adults with a disability take the next step. We provide a safe space where you can continue core literacy and numeracy, increase your independence skills, improve your social capabilities and learn to express yourself as an individual!

The capacity to belong, care and to share. Where individuals can be a part of a wider social system and build connections with the people around them.

Begin to develop individual independence and skills used in daily life situations. Setting personal goals to work towards.

  • Emotional regulation

A safe space to express oneself in a way which they feel is best suited to who they are as an individual.

Individuals can continue to grow their knowledge around basic literacy and numeracy and learn how they can practise these skills in day to day life.
